    The spacious garden area was lovely for relaxing, easily accessible for seniors. I enjoyed the well-kept play areas, which were perfect for the little ones and added to the charming ambience of the inn.

    More comfortable bedding would enhance the experience.

    Perfect Family Getaway

    This place is fab for a fam day out. The kids loved the play areas, and they even had a pool! Food was delish, really hit the spot after a long day. Just a heads-up, you gotta pick up your meals from the bar if you're outside, which can be a bit tricky with little ones. But honestly, we had such a blast!

    lovely location
    excellent food
    private pool
    creaky floorboards
    brief stay

    The stay was pleasant with a lovely location where I could hear church bells on a summer evening. The food was excellent, well-cooked, and unbelievably good value. I appreciated the friendly and helpful staff, especially Hollie at check-in. The pool was a standout feature, as it felt private and relaxing, perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing.

    helpful staff
    large room
    dirty facilities
    poor food quality
    animal neglect

    A lovely family-run establishment with friendly staff and a huge room that provided comfort during our one-night stay. The facilities are commendable, particularly the swimming pool and children's play areas, making it a great choice for families. the dining experience fell short this time. the roast was disappointing, and the cleanliness of the changing rooms raised concerns. I noticed that the animals on site were not being cared for properly, particularly the rabbits, which is troubling and warrants attention.

    Our family had such a blast with the adventure playground and the heated swimming pool keeping the kids entertained. The rooms were warm and comfy, just what we needed after a long day, though we did find them a bit chilly at first, but the staff quickly fixed that! Definitely make sure to try the delicious pub grub, you won't regret it! 😊

    Perfect family getaway!

    Just spent 5 nights with the fam and it was awesome! The views around were stunning, and our kid had a blast in the soft play area. Breakfast was yummy, loads of local options. One thing though, the pool could've been cleaner. Still, a great spot for family fun and exploring Devon!
